Do Online Violin Lessons Really Work?

Yes – often better than you might expect. Online violin lessons can work well for beginners and advanced players, children and adults alike. I demonstrate each movement, you try it yourself, and I give you personalised feedback on your technique and sound.

Posture and movement can be refined through careful observation, clear explanations and focused demonstrations, without hands-on adjustments. If needed, we simply adjust the camera angle for a better view. For younger children, a parent’s help with the initial setup can be useful.

You’ll need your violin, a reliable internet connection and a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone. A smartphone also works, although a larger screen makes it easier to follow demonstrations.

During your free trial lesson, we check the sound, video and camera position together. You can then decide whether online lessons are right for you or your child, with no obligation to continue.
